Volunteer! Planting

Event Details

Park Beautification Day
Wednesday, March 15th, 11am-2pm
Casa Grande

There are many ways to keep your park beautiful! If you are looking to get outside and connect with the outdoors right in your backyard this is the opportunity for you! California native plants play an important role in the health of our parks. To help our native plants thrive we have to work together to remove non-native and invasive plants. Once removed we need help quickly planting natives to fill the space. Please join us in a tree planting day and learn a bit about the plants around you.

Volunteers meet at the Casa Grande Parking Lot at 11 AM. The park address is 21350 Almaden Road

No special skills are required for this event. Please wear long pants, closed toe shoes, and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Work gloves are provided but you are welcome to wear your own.
